There are three models of DC Power Supplies available for use in the SD Labs:
Dr. Meter PS-305DM
Yihua YH302D
Tek Power TP3005T

Yihua YH302D

Output DC Voltage: 0.0 – 30.0V
Output DC Current: 0.00 – 2.00 A
Constant Voltage & Constant Current Modes
Automatic Overload and Short Circuit protection
Does NOT support Parallel output with another Power Supply

To set constant Current mode:
1) First, adjust the voltage coarse / fine adjustment knob to any value between 2V to 5V
(when the current coarse & fine adjustment knob is not at 0).
2) Then, adjust the current coarse / fine adjustment knob to 0 (by turning the knob anti
clockwise all-the-way down).
3) Use the leads to connect the positive terminal “+” with the negative terminal “-”.
4) Then, adjust the current coarse / fine adjustment knob to the desired amperage value,
and proceed for use.

Output DC Voltage: 0.0 – 30.0V
Output DC Current: 0.00 – 5.00 A
Constant Voltage & Constant Current Modes
Automatic Overload and Short Circuit protection
Does NOT support Parallel output with another Power Supply

To set Constant Current mode:
1. With the power supply ON, Adjust the “CURRENT” knobs to zero/minimum.
2. Use wire leads to make the “+”and “–” terminals shorted temporarily.
3. Press “STOP/OUT”.
4. Adjust the “CURRENT” knobs to the necessary current value.
5. Remove the shorted leads.
6. Regulate “VOLTAGE” knobs to the necessary values of output voltage.
7.Connect the load.

Output DC Voltage: 0.0 – 30.0V
Output DC Current: 0.00 – 5.00 A
Constant Voltage & Constant Current Modes
Automatic Over Current Protection (OCP Mode)
Does NOT support Parallel output with another Power Supply

To set Constant current mode, press the Current knob to set the desired output current. The power supply will then vary voltage into the load to maintain the set current.

A note regarding Over Current Protection Mode:

Some loads may falsely trigger the OCP mode. In these cases, it may need to be manually turned off.
When OCP is triggered, the power supply will shut off into safety mode. The power button must be cycled to bring the power supply back online.
1. With the Power Supply ON, press the Voltage knob for 3 seconds
2. The “Voltage” display will either show OFF or ON. Rotate the voltage knob to change between OFF or ON.
3. Press the Current knob to adjust the OCP limiting current.
4. Press the Voltage knob to exit OCP setup.
