3-D Printing Guides and Notes

The below information is from Steve Lopez, the Undergraduate Lab Supervisor for the Electrical Engineering department and also the EE/CSE Makerspace (NH 241) Manager.

Preface: “This is what I send any student group that’s working on projects in one of the design classes that is planning to use the 3d printers.  By no means is it an exhaustive list, but they are some really decent resources to use when trying to get your head in the mindset of designing with the intent to 3d print.  Hope you find it useful!!”

Printing to the Lab 335 3-D Printers

Former TA Saed made a video on how to use the 3-D printers in Lab 335.

Each printer has a Raspberry Pi attached to it via USB. These Pis are running an OctoPrint web server which is only accessible via the Skynet WiFi.
