The lab has accumulated a small supply of high power DC power supplies over time. While useful for high power projects, they must be checked out from the Lab Coordinator to ensure that the AC side of the power supply is wired properly and that all safety precautions are met.

Note that some items may not be available if they’ve been checked out already.

24 Volt Power Supplies

RECON RACM1200-24SAV/ENC

This 1200-Watt power supply has an adjustable output of 24 Volts at 50 Amps up to 28 volts at 42 Amps. Output is adjustable using small push button switches accessible through openings in the enclosure next to the 20-way feedback port.

Max Amps 1150W

This 1150-Watt power supply is no longer made by MaxAmps. It appears to be two cartridge-style Server Power Supplies that are connected in parallel. It has two IEC cable inputs, and the output is terminated in barrel jacks.

A Manual is not available for this item.

Generic 360-24

This 360-Watt power supply supports 24 volts at 15 amps. The output is adjustable using a potentiometer, but no datasheet is available to notate the voltage range.

Generic S-250-24

This 250-Watt power supply supports 24 volts at 10 amps. The output is adjustable using a potentiometer, but no datasheet is available to notate the voltage range.

Mean Well RD-125B

This 125-Watt power supply has two output rails. The 5-volt rail (V1) supports 4.5 amps and the 24-volt rail (V2) supports 4.5 amps. They share a common ground. The 5-volt rail is adjustable between 4.75-5.5 volts using a potentiometer.

12 Volt Power Supplies

Generic S-250-12

This 250-Watt power supply supports 12 volts at 20 amps. The output is adjustable using a potentiometer, but no datasheet is available to notate the voltage range.

Generic S-120-12

This 120-Watt power supply supports 12 volts at 10 amps. The output is adjustable using a potentiometer, but no datasheet is available to notate the voltage range.

Mean Well RD-35A

This 32-Watt power supply has two output rails. The 5-volt rail (V1) supports 4 amps and the 12-volt rail (V2) supports 1 amp. They share a common ground. The 5-volt rail is adjustable between 4.75-5.5 volts using a potentiometer.
